Who we are
English Domain, part of Domain Group, is a prestigious licensed school in Malta, offering a diverse range of English courses for both adults and juniors. Our programs include General English, TEFL, Exam preparation, Business English, Private Tuition, Semi-Private Tuition, Free Classes, as well as English For Specific Purposes. Our tailored junior and teenage programs run year-round, and we offer various afternoon and evening courses for closed groups and expats living and working in Malta. Students can also achieve MFHEA accredited Level 2 and Level 4 English Proficiency qualifications through our General English program. With a commitment to excellence, we ensure our students receive a comprehensive education to meet their personal and professional goals.

How do I book the course and accommodation with English Domain?Step 1: Fill out the online application form or send an email with the course and accommodation details to sales@domaingroup.com.mt Step 2: We will confirm your booking via email while also forwarding a copy of your invoice. You will be requested to make at least a deposit of 50% + any potential visa processing fees within 7 days of receiving the invoice, prior to issuing the Acceptance Letter (stating the start and finish dates of your course and accommodation details). Details on how to make the deposit will be included in the email confirming your booking.

Can I send an enquiry without booking the course by filling in the online registration form?Yes, you can either fill in the online registration form or send us an email on sales@domaingroup.com.mt where will get back to you at our earliest convenience.

Is the school open all year round?The school operates continuously throughout the year except for a one week break in mid-August and another week between Christmas and New Year.

Where is the school located?Our institute is located in Mosta, one of the largest cities in Malta. The main attraction in Mosta is the Rotunda Church, a majestic edifice located in the city centre, boasting the third largest dome in Europe. Every August 15th, Mosta celebrates the parish feast of the Assumption, a festivity popular among both locals and tourists.

Do I require a visa to travel to Malta?If you are an EU citizen, you do not need a visa to travel to Malta. If you are a Non-EU citizen, please check the Identity Malta website to determine if you require a visa to travel to Malta.

If I require a visa to travel to Malta, how do I apply?Should that be the case, we will assist you throughout the entire application process. Simply complete the registration at our institution as mentioned above, and we will take care of scheduling an appointment for you at the nearest VFS centre. Appointment must be done at least 10 weeks prior to your arrival (as required by Identity Malta). Additionally, we will send you a list of the necessary documents for your visa application and assist you in reviewing them. There would be no charges from the school related to the reviewing of the documents.

Can I start a course any time?Our courses are available year-round, with new sessions starting every Monday. This ensures flexibility and convenience for our students, allowing them to join at any time that best suits their schedule.

Do you offer any other courses rather than the usual General English Course?We offer both individual and group courses, covering general English as well as preparation for specific exams. Additionally, we provide Business English courses tailored to the unique needs of each student. Take a look at the courses section on our website to learn more.

Will I get a certificate at the end of the course?Certainly, at the end of the course, you will undergo an assessment test to evaluate your learning, and the result will be recorded on the official and accredited certificate we will issue to you. For your information, every student is also required to take a pre-enrolment test to determine their initial level, and will be subject to intermediate tests throughout the course to monitor their progress.

Can I work part-time while studying in Malta?International students in Malta are typically allowed to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic term and full-time during semester breaks. However, it is important to recognize that these limitations may differ based on your visa category and program of study.
